Yes, we are always happy to welcome new smiles to our office. Please call our Vaughan or Whitby office to schedule an appointment.
For us, referrals mean we had a satisfied customer and that is the greatest compliment! We value the confidence and trust our patients have in our office and are always glad to meet friends, relatives or colleagues of our existing patients.
At Diamond Dental Centre, we see children starting at the age of 3, unless an emergency or special situation arises before that. Before a child turns 3, you can help your child have a positive first visit by reading children’s books about going to the dentist with your child and by bringing your child to visits of older siblings (if the older siblings are cooperative patients) so your child can see other people having positive experiences at the office. If you have questions about your child before age 3, please feel free to call our office.
Should you need to change your appointment, we kindly ask that you please notify us a minimum of 2 business days before your appointment. This will allow us to offer your reserved time to another patient who requires it. Missing several consecutive appointments will result in you being charged a missed appointment fee.
Yes, we accept almost all dental insurance plans! Every insurance policy is different, so please call our office with your policy information. Due to privacy regulations, certain insurance companies will not share information with dental offices, but we will do our best to review your coverages with you.
Most insurance claims are submitted electronically at the time of your appointment, which means that we generally get an immediate response from your insurance company. There are times, such as weekends and with larger treatments, where we may not get an immediate response. Some companies do not allow electronic submission of claims; in that case, we will submit your claim by mail.
Yes, you do need to pay the difference. The dental profession is governed by the rules of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. It is against the law for patients not to pay the difference between what their insurance company pays and the full price of the treatment. Please understand that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company and they are the ones who set coverages. As your dental office, we need to follow the rules established by your employer and your plan.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit and cash. We accept personal cheques once you have an established relationship with our office. Payment is due at the time of treatment. For payments of more than $500, we are happy to discuss financing options with you.
